Ideas for new products come from two places: From the Field and Stroke of Genius.

Stroke of Genius is that flash of insight that simultaneously sees the problem and the solution. The Recon Wrap, for example, sprang from Wemmer’s experience guiding cycling expeditions into the Andes Mountains. He realized that troops would find a head/neck gaiter as useful as cyclists do for keeping hair out of the way, and dust and dirt out of mouths.

Products are also developed from feedback from the field —sometimes specific requests, sometimes from an identified need. THE Pack, ammo pouches, the Vapor Holster and OVER-ARMOR™ are examples of products developed from the field.

All SPEC.-OPS.® Brand products are tested by troops, whose feedback advances the company’s technology, improves prototypes, and tests durability. The result of this emphasis on testing and quality control is that just one in 40,000 pieces ever comes back. And when it does, the company replaces it for free.

The product line of high performance gear includes organizers, wallets, weapon slings, packs and load bearing equipment, all designed to lighten the load and minimize the effort to operate equipment. The most popular products are the weapons slings, organizers and belts.

Dura-Lastic is our proprietary blend of Cordura® fiber and Natural Rubber, resulting in the most durable elastic ever. Outlasts even the toughest Bungee cord!

X-System is the brand name for the SPEC.-OPS.® Brand family of modular load bearing gear. M.O.L.L.E. and PALS compatible, X System pouches attach to all SPEC.-OPS.® Brand packs, belts and vests using GRID-LOK™ attachment loops.
